For Halloween this year we headed to Atlanta to stay with Chris and Katherine and to meet our niece Kaycie. She is just beautiful, and sweet, and snuggly, and cute, and everything a new baby should be. And she's not colicky!!!! Scott and I didn't know what to think about that- we are used to babies that scream a lot! Noah was so good with her. He held her and brought her things, and helped give her a bottle. He kept telling us that he loves "baby Kaycie". So he got some good practice for when he becomes a big brother!
We are so blessed to have our miracle mudpie makers. Share our joy and our journey.

Fall Festival 2009
We went to the bamboo farm again this year for the fall festival. It was really fun- and didn't rain!! We saw all kinds of things. Noah got to pet a turtle and some reptiles. We rode the hay ride. Noah wanted a pumpkin and a blue spider on his face. The highlight of the day was when Noah got to squirt the fire truck hose! What fun!!
Baby Q is growing! Kicking a lot! We are 99% sure he has a name!! Yay!! Next checkup is the first week of November. I'm more than halfway- 21 weeks!!

I bet you thought we fell off the planet!
So a lot has been going on in our household. Noah is going to be a big brother! I am due the first week of march. Here is a recent pic! We will find out boy or girl in october! When I get the date- I will let everyone know! Noah says he also has a baby in his tummy- just like mommy.

We have our house on the market. We would like more room- for obvious reasons! We have had a lot of traffic, and are praying that it sells soon!
I will be an aunt any day now!! Chris and Katherine are very excited and I think Katherine is past ready for the baby to come! We plan to go to Atlanta to meet our niece in late October.
I also changed jobs! After 7 years in neurology- I found a part time job in wound care. I work 3 or 4 days per week from 8-2ish. It is wonderful. The people I work with are great- and I am learning a lot.
Scott also got promoted at work! He is now the manager of the VOIP system (he's in charge of all the phones on 7 campuses!). He is working very hard!
We have been spending a lot of time outside- so here are some pics of Noah playing in the rain, and feeding ducks at a park.

Amelia Trip
So this weekend we went to Amelia Island- and it was great. We played on the beach, and in the pool at the hotel. Matt and Vicki met us there on Friday. On Saturday we went to the zoo! We saw lots of animals. Noah rode his first train, played in the water zone and fed a giraffe- named Duke. Saturday evening we went downtown to see the parade, complete with a pirate ship and canon. Then we walked to the beach to see the fireworks. Very fun. It was nice to get away for a long weekend. Noah was excited that it was America's birthday- and sang her the happy birthday song. He also had fun pushing the buttons for the elevator, and putting the key in the hotel door. He always remembered where our room was!
Here we are feeding Duke!
here is Noah and Scott on the train.
