Noah's 3rd birthday!!!

Noah's 3rd birthday was great fun! We cannot believe that he is 3. His favorite part of the party was the "pinyana." The kids liked hitting it too- and I think they all went home with a sugar high.

The elf helped to hang his birthday banner!

Here is Noah blowing out his candles on his cake!

It sure is tiring being 3!!

Elf Invasion!!!!!

Our house has been invaded by a mischievous elf!!! He appeared on December the first and has been quite busy! Noah named him Twinkle Lighty.

He toilet papered our computer room one night:

Had a movie night with popcorn and a juice box:

Dressed up in Noah's clothes for school:

And held a snowball fight with mini- marshmallows! He did bake us cookies one night. I wonder what he will be up to in the next 2 weeks!!

Halloween 2009

For Halloween this year we headed to Atlanta to stay with Chris and Katherine and to meet our niece Kaycie. She is just beautiful, and sweet, and snuggly, and cute, and everything a new baby should be. And she's not colicky!!!! Scott and I didn't know what to think about that- we are used to babies that scream a lot! Noah was so good with her. He held her and brought her things, and helped give her a bottle. He kept telling us that he loves "baby Kaycie". So he got some good practice for when he becomes a big brother!

On Saturday afternoon, we carved pumpkins. As you can see- Chris and Scott did all the work. The pumpkins looked great and we got lots of compliments from the neighborhood. We then took Lightening McQueen, I mean Noah, Trick or Treating. He had a blast! It was cold and rainy so we didn't stay out long. On Sunday we had to come back home. Noah keeps asking when we are going back to 'Lanta!

Fall Festival 2009

We went to the bamboo farm again this year for the fall festival. It was really fun- and didn't rain!! We saw all kinds of things. Noah got to pet a turtle and some reptiles. We rode the hay ride. Noah wanted a pumpkin and a blue spider on his face. The highlight of the day was when Noah got to squirt the fire truck hose! What fun!!

Baby Q is growing! Kicking a lot! We are 99% sure he has a name!! Yay!! Next checkup is the first week of November. I'm more than halfway- 21 weeks!!

Ralph and the Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we had some excitement! Noah caught a frog out of the pool. He named the frog Ralph. We let Ralph go in the backyard. We also went to the pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins! It was fun. Very hot for pumpkins, but, hey- what do you expect?

I bet you thought we fell off the planet!

So a lot has been going on in our household. Noah is going to be a big brother! I am due the first week of march. Here is a recent pic! We will find out boy or girl in october! When I get the date- I will let everyone know! Noah says he also has a baby in his tummy- just like mommy.

We have our house on the market. We would like more room- for obvious reasons! We have had a lot of traffic, and are praying that it sells soon!

I will be an aunt any day now!! Chris and Katherine are very excited and I think Katherine is past ready for the baby to come! We plan to go to Atlanta to meet our niece in late October.

I also changed jobs! After 7 years in neurology- I found a part time job in wound care. I work 3 or 4 days per week from 8-2ish. It is wonderful. The people I work with are great- and I am learning a lot.

Scott also got promoted at work! He is now the manager of the VOIP system (he's in charge of all the phones on 7 campuses!). He is working very hard!

We have been spending a lot of time outside- so here are some pics of Noah playing in the rain, and feeding ducks at a park.

Amelia Trip

So this weekend we went to Amelia Island- and it was great. We played on the beach, and in the pool at the hotel. Matt and Vicki met us there on Friday. On Saturday we went to the zoo! We saw lots of animals. Noah rode his first train, played in the water zone and fed a giraffe- named Duke. Saturday evening we went downtown to see the parade, complete with a pirate ship and canon. Then we walked to the beach to see the fireworks. Very fun. It was nice to get away for a long weekend. Noah was excited that it was America's birthday- and sang her the happy birthday song. He also had fun pushing the buttons for the elevator, and putting the key in the hotel door. He always remembered where our room was!

Here we are feeding Duke!

We went to Atlanta last weekend, and went to the zoo. Noah had fun in the petting zoo area. He also had fun playing on the playground. I got a great pic of him and uncle Chris!!

Eggs Galore!

Saturday we had an egg hunt at Grandpa Curtis' and Grandma Denise's house. Noah had so much fun. We had to keep re-hiding the eggs. I think there still might be one under the green bucket. We also had cupcakes and ice cream- YUM!

Sunday after I got done at the hospital- we dyed some eggs at home. Noah liked doing this too.

He is getting so big. He loves to sing. He is about 37 inches tall- and already wearing 3T clothes!

We are so blessed to have our miracle mudpie makers. Share our joy and our journey.
