I was very, very busy as you can see.

St. John 2008

We traveled to St. John in the USVI 2 weeks ago. It was beautiful- and had not changed much since our last visit. I spent the mornings like this. . .

coffee and the sunrise- doesn't get much more peaceful. Especially when you consider the view from our villa. It is of Cinnamon Bay Beach

I built a beautiful sand sculpture.

Noah had fun helping Grandma and Aunt Sissy build a castle.

We did not get sunburnt- unlike some of our other family members. We also didn't get a chance to take alot of pictures- chasing Noah took up most of our time. I did get to see the sunset one night from the deck.

We had fun swimming in the beautiful clear water. I will try to post more pics when we get copies from family members!!

What a Weekend

So this weekend was really busy. Mommy had to work at the hospital both mornings. I had to wake up early so she wouldn't be late. I'm nice like that. Saturday evening we went to Jaci's first birthday party! It was really fun. James played with me- and he is such a big boy! He even let me play with his toys. Jaci liked her presents. I was so excited from all the party that I didn't go to sleep until 10:30.

On sunday afternoon we played in the pool, and I went swimming. It was fun and wet. Roamin was the lifegaurd.

My trip to Richmond

This weekend mama and daddy took me really far away in the car to a place called Virginia. It seemed like it took forever to get there, and I had to ride in my car seat. Who invented these things? Too restricting and too many straps. On friday morning we went to the Metro Richmond Zoo I got to pet the giraffes, the sheep, goats, and I fed the camels. A peacock showed me its feathers all spread out- and it was funny. Mama toted me around in the Babyhawk- which was nice most of the time. I was so tired after picking out my toy that I fell asleep before we got out of the parking lot.

Later, after we checked into the hotel and had lunch, we went to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens. It was really pretty.

On Saturday, my great- granny had her 90th Birthday party. It was fun. I got to meet the whole family. There was alot of people there!! I had a tea party with my cousins Asher and Gemma. I played bubbles, and had fun climbing all the steps at Aunt Elsie's house. I even said Hi to the band!!

On Sunday we went to see great-nanny and pa-pa. She cooked such a good lunch. Then we started the long drive back home. I was happy to see roamin and niles when we got home!!

First Blog Post

I started this blog so friends and family could keep with our family happenings. A little background for those of you who are bored and want to appear to be working. Scott and I are high school sweethearts. We got married August 30, 1997. After a long, 3 year journey, we were blessed with Noah. Oh, how life changes!! We wouldn't trade it for anything. He is such a joy- even if he is spirited.

We are so blessed to have our miracle mudpie makers. Share our joy and our journey.
